UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET Leadership Programme

Many of our IVETA members will be familiar with UNESCO’s designated centre for TVET, UNEVOC.

UNEVOC is offering a free TVET Leadership programme in two batches (one in September and one in November 2021). Places are limited and you have to apply to be considered.

The ethos of the programme is that leadership is about successfully managing change. The 2021 programme will focus on Skills for the digital transformation: How TVET institutions can respond to future demands.

The programme explores:

  • The impact of the digital transformation on labour markets. How can TVET systems respond to future demands? What are the digital skills required?
  • The link between the digital transformation and sustainable development. How can institutions harness the digital transformation to contribute to sustainable development?
  • Strengthening TVET institutions. How can institutions be strengthened and supported to meet the demands of the digital transformation?

How and When?

The 2021 programme will be offered online and will be conducted in English. It will feature a series of webinars that cover trends, case studies, strategies and future planning.

The batches will take place either from 1-30 September or 1-30 November.

I am interested to join the programme from Bangladesh.
In agri-based developing country like Bangladesh we also pay attention agricultural skills labour market.
For sustainable development in agricultural sector tvet skills in agricultural and strengthening tvet institute badly needed. Bangladesh would play a vital rule in future.
