TVET Alliance Summit

SIF 2021 created relevant knowledge with the contribution of international high-level experts. Participants shared their understanding and visions for the future of education and contributed with ideas for redefining approaches to learning and equipping them with a new attention to values.

The 2021 debate highlighted ideas and proposals for the future of education under the following main themes: DIGITAL AND GREEN REVOLUTION – MICRO-CREDENTIALS – SHARING IS CARING.

The ongoing attack on Ukraine forces the SIF community to adapt to the war scenario and calls for discussing new challenges related to building and maintaining peace. This year’s debate will therefore focus on the role of education as a cornerstone of peace and revive the already consolidated attention of SIF participants to ethical values in education. In addition, this year’s debate will explore how the development of a digital mindset can become an engine to take technical and vocational education for peace to the next level.

Together with Skillman and our other partners, IVETA will be part of a 24-member meeting in Florence, Italy to finalise the outcomes of SIF2021, and to set the Alliance's vision for SIF2022.

A formal statement will be drafted to shape the future of TVET as a responsive sector which is able to react to megatrends (if not anticipate them), and create an inclusive system that leaves no one behind.
