Our partner, Skillman.eu, is running its annual forum once again in September. This time, the location for SIF2023 will be Riga, Latvia.
Like every year, the forum is part of a long journey in skills development where international keynote contributors, sponsors, partners, and participants work together to achieve common goals aiming at improving education and TVET.
The annual forum is organised in Latvia in partnership with the Latvian Ministry of Education and Science - as part of the European Year of Skills, in collaboration with Europea Latvia, the European Training Foundation and the Asian Development Bank.
The 2023 Forum will pay specific attention to the potential of global networking as a resource for co-creating our common knowledge. It aims at addressing the emerging megatrends for a future society in which any qualification has a role, and where microcredentials may have a crucial role in response to the new emerging skills demands.
The local responses to the global trends will be considered by an additional emphasis on green and digital transition and innovative approaches from various perspectives, and with the needs of active citizenship in mind.
IVETA will be represented there, as always, and our president, Dr Julian Ng, will be part of a panel.
This year, SIF2023 will be a hybrid event. You can also join in online.
