Event Details

Join us for the first of a series of webinars we are running this year, exclusively for IVETA members.

IVETA is calling on its members and the global TVET community to share their
experiences, practices and concerns on teaching and learning in TVET. We look forward to hearing from policymakers, researchers, practitioners,
industry, and teachers and learners in TVET. Registration will accommodate
the submission of advance questions from participants.

Our first webinar looks at the issue of certification and accreditation in Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

Some of the questions we will be attempting to answer include:

  1. Are there existing standards and certifications?
  2. Are there related policy issues?
  3. Do solid linkages with industry exit or must they be developed?
  4. Are qualified SMEs being utilized to identify the skillset workers need?
  5. Do faculty have the requisite expertise and credentials to teach?
