Futureland 2024 in Malta

IVETA was delighted to co-organise a learning festival in Malta called ‘Futureland’ from 19-20 April 2024. The event was the successor to last year’s Futureland in Dublin, and it was hosted at the historic Fort St Elmo in Valletta, Malta.

This year’s theme was ‘Inclusive Education for an Inclusive World’ and the learning festival took a different approach by being workshop-led. This gave the event a dynamic and hands-on feel.

Nearly 50 participants attended and they came from different parts of the world including Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Ireland, Malta, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the USA.

The event was stage-managed by Warnborough College Ireland as part of the European Union-funded INCLUSION2 project, with support from Mater Boni Consilii St Joseph School in Paola, DHOS Brugge, and Aeres University of Applied Sciences.

Overall, the event was highly-enjoyable, and feedback was full of praise. We look forward to welcoming delegates back to Futureland 2025.
