November 30 - December 3, 2022
IVETA's 2022 International Conference is held in conjunction with the annual US Association for Career & Technical Education (ACTE) Conference.
This provides IVETA members:
- programs for international participants; and
- opportunity to meet other TVET professionals at the ACTE conference, attend workshops on many TVET technical areas & levels, visit 200 exhibits of TVET goods/services, a Community College, etc.
IVETA Conference Theme
Helping TVET educators, administrators and other key stakeholders prepare citizens with the knowledge and skills to succeed in the changing 21st-Century Economy
Sub-themes:
- Using labor market information and other data to plan and evaluate the impact of TVET.
- Adult continuing education, upgrading the existing workforce.
- Use of technology to deliver TVET in a changing labor market.
- Models of TVET institution/program accreditation and certification.
- Importance and delivery of “soft skill” workforce training across sectors.

We have negotiated a special rate for IVETA members.
IVETA members pay only US$345, compared to US$695 (for non-ACTE members).
That's a whopping US$350 saving. If you are not a current IVETA member, what are you waiting for?
To get this discount, IVETA members will use a special code which they can see here.
Register on the ACTE website by clicking on Attendee In-Person Registration. Use your IVETA code to get the discount. Please pay using a credit card. If you do not have one, please send your registration details and funds (USD$345) to the IVETA Treasurer (Sandra.Poirier@mtsu.edu), so she can complete your registration.
Travel, Accommodation, and Invitation Letters
You can book your own hotel privately or use the ACTE system which has special rates.
