Francesco Silva Riesco
Dr Silva is an historian and possesses a Master in Business Management with eight years of experience in the agricultural sector. A significant part of his professional experience is focused on the modernisation of the agricultural industry and the growing closeness of the national industry to production standards and international certification frameworks.

His humanistic training and his education as an educator have given him a continuous interest in cultural and social changes in the context of labour practices and the effects of globalisation on them.

He has participated in joint projects with local universities that develop fieldwork experience programmes with technical career students. He actively participates in the organization of the Latin American and Caribbean region.
