IVETA 2022 – REVIEWING THE PAST AND PLANNING THE FUTURE!
IVETA would like your assistance to improve and extend its products and services to individual professionals, organizations and businesses involved in TVET. In order to accomplish this goal in a systematic and comprehensive manner IVETA is initiating a survey of existing and potential new members with two objectives:
To gain input from existing members on current and future goods & services IVETA should provide.
To market IVETA to past/dormant members, and potential new members, by highlighting IVETA’s international role in TVET, and asking for their input on current and further goods and services.
The first wave is to existing IVETA members. The survey has already been sent out to all members in each region over the Signature of John Gaal IVETA President, and the Vice President of each region. Please check your junk mail folder. To complete the survey all you have to do is click on the link in the transmittal EM, and it will take less than 10 minutes to complete. The second wave will be to potential new individual and institutional/business members with a target date of the end of January. Potential members could be (i) individual professionals, (ii) public and private institutions/businesses, (iii) polytechnics, teacher training institutions, and (iv) TVET Departments in Ministries in Education/Higher Education, Ministries of Labor, National Training Boards, National Standards bodies, professional TVET associations etc. To accomplish this, we need the assistance of each Regional VP.
We need help from each VP to provide information on potential new members in the countries they represent, preferably on or before January 22. We need the name of a contact person, title, institution if appropriate, country, and most importantly an email address. Please send this contact information to David Fretwell ivetavpna@gmail.com or Madeline Watson pr@iveta.global. When this input is received we will transmit second wave of the survey to suggested addresses by end January.
It is the intention that the survey will be complied, summarized and distributed to all members on or before the end of February so it can inform the implementation of IVETA programs and services in 2022 and beyond. The information received can and will be analyzed in several ways (i.e., overall, by region, by member type, etc.) . To accomplish the goal, it is critical that members respond quickly to the first wave survey, and regional vice presidents provide input/addresses for the second wave.

Note that the first wave survey contains a question that asks all member so suggest possible contacts for new members. This is one reason we are implementing the survey in two waves. Suggestions for new members from members in the first wave can be combined with new members suggested by Regional VPs for the second wave.
